Bespoke Tailor - WELTMEX: About

Company History

1937–2026

The tradition of bespoke tailoring built since 1955

The history of our workshop began in 1955, when master bespoke tailor Bronisław Morawski (1937–2026) started his independent professional journey, dedicating his entire life to the art of true tailoring craftsmanship.

He was not only an outstanding craftsman, but above all a man of great passion, precision, and respect for tradition. For over 70 years of his work, he created made-to-measure garments distinguished by the highest quality of workmanship, elegance, and attention to every, even the smallest, detail.

Bronisław Morawski was a student of the pioneers of pattern cutting based on the proportions resulting from the structure of the human body — Józef Czosnowski and Anastazy Otlewski, who were the only Poles to graduate from the Fashion Academy in Milan in the 1920s.

During the interwar period, Józef Czosnowski ran a renowned tailoring workshop in Warsaw, whose clients included President of Poland Ignacy Mościcki, Minister of Foreign Affairs Józef Beck, and many other distinguished figures of the Second Polish Republic.

It was from this exceptional tailoring school that Bronisław Morawski inherited the most important values: mastery of form, perfection of workmanship, and the belief that true elegance never goes out of fashion.

During the communist era until the early 1990s, the workshop served only individual clients. After the political and economic transformation of the late 1980s and early 1990s, under the name WELTMEX, the company expanded its activity to serve institutional and corporate clients.

The scope of services grew to include uniforms, historical uniforms, theatrical costumes, orchestra uniforms, tailcoats, frock coats, and exclusive bespoke tailoring.

Today, after the passing of the Founder, his work is continued by the next generation.

The achievements, experience, and values that Bronisław Morawski built throughout his life are now continued at Dom Krawiecki WELTMEX Bespoke.

We are not a corporation or mass production. We are a family craft workshop where quality of workmanship, durability, and an individual approach to every client matter most.

We focus on true bespoke tailoring — based on experience, hand craftsmanship, and attention to every detail. Every project is treated individually, whether it is a made-to-measure suit, a historical uniform, a tailcoat for a musician, or uniforms for an entire orchestra.

In our work, quantity is never more important than quality — garments are made to last for years and crafted with the highest level of care.

The legacy of Bronisław Morawski remains both our commitment and inspiration to continue this path with the same respect for the client, the profession, and the tailoring tradition.

This is not just a company.
It is a family tailoring tradition built through generations.
